Hello,

Thank you for reading! Please do not take the length of sections or number of prompts as indicating preferences. I would be delighted to receive fic in any of these fandoms, but there are some that have more characters/some I've been able to come up with more specific prompts than for others, and in any case ODAO applies anyhow. I've received some great fic for some of these prompts before, but more of a good thing is always also a good thing, and I'd love another take on the same concepts.

I am on AO3 as Nabielka.

DNWs:
- A/B/O verse
- Pregnancy
- D/s relationship dynamics
- BDSM in general
- Trans headcanons
- Rape roleplay/'consensual non-con'/consent play
- Porn industry/prostitution
- Mommy/Daddy kink
- happiness in slavery
- for Captive Prince - Erasmus/Torveld; AU where Laurent is enslaved in Akielos
- modern AUs, North America AUs,
- Christmas
- suggestions that a woman owes sexual/romantic attention to a man because of things he's done for her (suggestions that this is owed by slaves in CP is okay)
- explicit blowjobs

Александр Невский | Alexander Nevsky (1938) - Olga Danilovna/Vasilisa

A woman in armour! Revenge for the death of a loved one! Defence of the country! A fighting girl and her sweetheart!

Vasilisa was the bravest in the war! I’d like an AU in which Olga declares not just that she’d marry whichever one of the two suitors turns out to be braver in the war (neither of whom she seems to be that interested in before the battle) but that she’d marry whoever was the bravest overall – which turns out to be Vasilisa. I’d like something set during the war too, especially Olga appreciating how Vasilisa looks in armour and chainmail. Perhaps Vasilisa can teach her some fighting skills too. In return, maybe Olga can show her around Novgorod? I’d also enjoy something set post-canon where they do get married to the suitors, and they come to visit Olga, and Olga, though not having a terrible marriage, looks at Vasilisa with yearning and wonders what if.

Captive Prince - C. S. Pacat

Damen & Theomedes

Damen clearly loved his father a lot: he’s a set of standards to follow, they’ve apparently never disagreed on serious matters, and Theomedes wants to be well to see what Damen will accomplish. What Damen does actually accomplish, of course, is a close alliance with Vere, which he thinks no matter how he might try to explain, Theomedes would not understand. Veretian voices in his halls! His son besotted! Even Makedon of the sensible views about Vere won over!

I'd love to have Theomedes deal with the changes in his son, whether directly related to Laurent's presence in his life or less so. I feel like the changes in Damen are all linked at least tangentially to Laurent anyway, so even if the primary focus is on Kastor's betrayal or policy changes implemented by Damen, I will be happy. I would also be interested in something about policies Damen might implement that go against/undo what Theomedes was pursuing in the same matter, especially in minor matters, and how he might feel deliberately undoing his father's work.

Laurent & Theomedes

What might that relationship look like? What could make Theomedes at least somewhat reconciled to Laurent's presence in Damen's life? I'm happy for the way they might be brought to meet to be handwaved and I'm not fussed about it: I'd be happy for some supernatural encounter like Theomedes being brought back to life (via some magical object they encounter on Progress around the country?) whether normally or in a Comes Back Wrong situation where he's not quite Theomedes but it's not immediately apparent, or a time travel AU where D/L try to change things (like stopping the events of Marlas?), or maybe Kastor's coup worked differently and only put Theomedes in a coma, or even to have Theomedes appear in a dream.

On the other side, something dealing with Laurent’s antipathy for Theomedes would be great too. In KR he says, ‘we don’t have to do this now’ when the topic of him having hated Theomedes comes up. What about when it comes up again, at a time where Damen’s a bit less emotionally vulnerable to it? How does he feel about Damen’s and the public positive remembrance of Theomedes?

Jokaste/Kashel

Maybe when Jokaste goes off a the end of the trilogy, she meets with some Vaskians? I’d love to see Kashel teach her to become a warrior. Or perhaps Jokaste could help Kashel with something she’d had previous experience in, like maybe treating an illness she’s been exposed to in the past, or to help in a Vaskian attack by providing local knowledge or serving as a decoy. How do you get a Vaskian clan to accept you?

I’d be interested in something exploring the avenues of power available to women, who are sadly absent from the world of canon. Akielos doesn’t appear to provide many avenues for women’s power, especially not in an overt sense – we get told of past ruling queens, but we don’t see women in positions of power either within the political structure or within the military. I’d be good to see Jokaste find herself in a place where women’s opportunities don’t seem to be so linked to personal sexual relationships with men. Though even there, it’s not clear to me how much of a choice Halvik’s girls get, so that perhaps women’s bodies are still there for the use of others.

Jokaste/Lykaios or Jokaste & Lykaios

My character specific DNW is that I don’t enjoy happiness-in-slavery tales. I’d appreciate a sense that Lykaios’ position is depriving her of choices and putting her under the control of others, and not a romantic/happy slave/master fic.

I’d be interested in something dark and dubconny here. Something about Jokaste taking out resentment over the role she’s been put into: in Damen and Kastor’s lives, as a woman in Akielon society – on Lykaios (who’s in a worse one) – (either in a sexual or non-sexual way). Or using Lykaios to feel in some way closer to Damen, whether with Damen granting Jokaste the use of his slaves or behind his back, with Lykaios fearing him finding out and yet not being in a position to refuse Jokaste. Or perhaps something with Jokaste being aware that Lykaios is going to die in the coup. I could also enjoy something with Lykaios being attracted to Jokaste and seeing her with Damen.

For gen, I’d enjoy something about Jokaste’s views on slavery, especially if they’re a bit more nuanced than Damen’s are at the beginning. Something dealing with how Lykaios has been controlled, on the watch even for slight skin marring (IIRC in the extra story about Erasmus, there was a slave who fell, got a scar, and fell down the ranks). Or about the intellectual restrains accompanying the training. I’d like some realisation of the great and fundamental wrong that has been done to Lykaios, whether Jokaste thinks that this can be in some way remedied or whether she just writes Lykaios off at that point. Perhaps she deliberately does nothing to help her because she thinks she would be better off dead?

On a happier note, I would love a slave uprising that would set Lykaios at least temporarily free or if she were somehow to escape instead of having her throat slit at the beginning of the book. Maybe she can find some happiness and safety elsewhere? Vask, maybe? Similarly, what if Jokaste decided it would be safer to escape from the court at the time of Kastor's coup (as the others who knew about it were killed off and he seemed a little colder towards her, maybe) and perhaps took Lykaios along with her if Lykaios had survived somehow (having been despatched on an errand somewhere, or hiding, or whatever).

Also, if you wanted to write Damen/Laurent, I'd love an always a different sex!AU f/f.

Kariera Nikodema Dyzmy | The Career of Nikodem Dyzma - Tadeusz Dołęga-Mostowicz - Kasia Kunicka/Nina Kunicka

I’d like something about how it started. Something about that first spring together Nina remembers when Kasia comes back again. What did Kasia think of Nina when her father married her? Nina says they have different views, writes Kasia will never understand her. On what other issues do they differ, except for whether men hold any attraction at all? A scene where Kasia takes some of the photographs of Nina which she has in her album would be sweet too, or something else from their moments alone in Koborowo when Kunicki goes to the capital. A darker look would be interesting too – was the only appeal that they are there together and then Kasia grew attached? Or something about Nina’s thoughts about what would happen if she were deformed in an accident. Or dealing with Kasia sleeping with Nikodem to try and get him away from Nina and with her own disgust over this. I’d enjoy an outside POV about them too – I enjoyed Nikodem not picking up on things in the novel, whether about them or about other things Nina was saying. I’d also like something about Kasia not saying goodbye to Nina before being sent abroad, and remembering her in Switzerland.

I'd be very happy with a fic in Polish.

Kordian - Słowacki - Mikołaj & Konstanty

I really liked the scene between them (almost as much as I did the planning to kill the Tsar) and I’d love something more about them. Perhaps something pre-canon around the death of Paul? The burial, the mixed emotions, the unspoken recriminations, and the grief that’s not fully pretend and not fully genuine. Paul as a ghost that’s haunting one or both of them! I’d also enjoy something more like in canon, with them throwing in each other’s faces their various wrongs and crimes committed. Mikołaj has the line about seeing Konstanty in every enemy, so something more about that? Some self-doubt about his involvement, some conversation that’s innocuous on the surface but still fraught?

I’d be very happy with a fic in Polish.

Lymond Chronicles - Dorothy Dunnett

Philippa Somerville/Catherine d'Albon

I liked Philippa in male disguise at the beginning of Checkmate. Something about Catherine seeking her in similar (though perhaps less dirty) disguise and finding her attractive even when she figures out that she’s a woman would be nice. I’d love for them to have some adventures together. Perhaps Philippa can find some use for Catherine in her search for Lymond's past or perhaps Catherine needs further help protecting her mother/others? What does Catherine think about her ‘suitor’’s wife? I’d enjoy some scenes of them at court together, whatever they bond over. I’d love to see some more scenes with them at the time that Catherine is to marry Lymond, say after the night when Catherine waits for him. I’d also be interested in something where part of the attraction is the connection with Lymond, where Catherine is interested in both Francis Crawford and in his wife. Perhaps they too can take advantage of the supposed licentiousness of the French court.

Francis Crawford & Khaireddin

I’d love a fix-it in which Khaireddin’s death can be avoided somehow. Perhaps the child pawns do not get put in Gabriel’s side, but one on each and the game ends more favourably? Or else Khourrem allows the move to be made without the killing. I’d enjoy a further scene in which Khaireddin does live to get to choose the next game to play with Lymond, and gets a little happiness in his life.

Francis Crawford & Richard Crawford

I loved the scenes between Richard and Francis in canon, and their intense complicated relationship. I enjoyed the duel, I liked Richard's line about making Francis beg to be killed, and I loved Lymond's about how they can't be torn drop by drop away from each other - that was one of my favourite scenes in the books.

I'd love to have a scene between them following the end of Disorderly Knights, with some angst and h/c following that showdown with Gabriel, as well as planning for the future. I would also enjoy something pre-canon about them, with their relationship en route to becoming what it is in GoK, but not quite there yet. I’d also love something set post-GoK when Lymond being rehabilitated as part of Scottish society and as part of the family. It would be very interesting to see some of those dynamics in transition. I would also enjoy an AU where Richard turns up somewhere he didn't canonically, especially if that somewhere is in the Ottoman Empire or in Russia at the time that Francis is voivoda there. I liked Francis as host in Checkmate and the discussions he had with Mary Stewart there, so I’d be very keen on something more involving Scottish politics of the time too. Post-canon dealings about the secret agreements about the succession or something set after Mary comes back to Scotland would be very welcome too.

I’d also love an Always A Different Sex AU with Frances still as the leader of the outlaws and as daring and obnoxious as Lymond is in canon, and Ricarda/Richeza still as fed up and distrustful of her.

Francis Crawford/Richard Crawford

I’d love something set before Richard decides to help Francis in the first book, with Richard still harbouring misapprehensions and resentment towards Francis. Something about Richard refamiliarising himself with his brother's body, since after all they have not been in close contact in the preceding years - he thinks about how Mariotta knows Francis' body better than he does, which we know isn't true, but something channelling that sense of resentment and betrayal would please me very much indeed. Alternatively, I'd also enjoy something set during the renewal of mixed feelings around Ringed Castle/Checkmate. What if post-canon Richard finds out about Sybilla’s earlier marriage and that Francis did not claim Midculter as he thought in Checkmate he had rushed to do? Something dealing with that too would be pleasing - here is Francis concerned for Richard, and meanwhile Richard thinks he'd have been glad to benefit.

Anything of the above for the & relationship applies here too.
